Grand Challenges funds emerging nations innovation

Grand Challenges Canada (GCC) has launched an $18-million Rising Stars in Global Health (RSGH) program to provide innovators in developing countries seed and scale-up grants for original ideas with potential. The RSGH program will provide seed grants of up to $100,000 and follow-on grants of up to $1 million for innovations with the highest potential. It complements GCC's Canadian Rising Stars in Global Health initiative which funds Canadian researchers….
