Genome British Columbia has received $715,000 from Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) to increase the user-pull of relevant genomics technologies by existing companies and organizations, as well as supporting new companies. The funding targets genomics technologies to ensure pest-free wood products and identify the origins of agri-fisheries products by matching industry with academia and addressing the gaps in the innovation pipeline.
