Frank Des Rosiers is returning to Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) as assistant DM of innovation and energy technology, replacing Geoff Munroe who will continue in his capacity at the department's chief scientist. Des Rosier is currently general director with the senior assistant DM's office in the tax policy branch of Finance Canada. Prior to that, he was assistant secretary, priorities and planning at the Treasury Board of Canada and director of economic and fiscal analysis at the Privy Council Office. His previous position at NRCan was DG strategic policy. Des Rosiers holds a BA in economics from Laval Univ, an MA in economics from Univ of Montreal and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University, Harvard Kennedy School (Fulbright Scholar). …
