Almonte ON-based RiskLogik has received $800,000 in federal funding to undertake a major risk and reliance analysis of all supply chains running through New Brunswick. The project also involved Dalhousie Univ, the Univ of New Brunswick, the Conference Board of Canada and the New Brunswick Department of Public Safety. The analysis will determine the level of risk to truck routes and other supply chains running through the province to natural disasters, infrastructure and terrorist threats and an event at the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station. Funding is being provided through the Centre for Security Science at Defence Research and Development Canada. DRDC is also funding a similar RiskLogik project for the province of Saskatchewan and a National Risk and Resilience Strategy that RiskLogik is developing for all of Canada.
