Dr Pierre Coulombe has been officially appointed president of the National Research Council following a successful appearance on February 7 before the Standing Committee on Industry, Natural Resources, Science and Technology. He started in his new capacity February 15, replacing interim president Dr Michael Raymont. Coulombe has a wide range of experience in the public, private and academic sectors.
