Dan Duguay has been appointed executive VP of the Communications Research Centre. With a long career in high tech and government policy, he was most recently director of Industry Canada's Industrial and Regional Benefits Policy following a stint as director of Science and Technology Policy. In the private sector, he worked at Nortel Networks Corp in a number of engineering, new product introduction and management roles. He also participated in a number of start-ups and was principal of C2i Consulting.
