The CBRN Research and Technology Initiative (CRTI) has issued its second call for proposals for two of its three main project areas — technology acceleration and research and technology development. A brief synopsis of projects is due January 6/03. Those that successfully pass through the screening process will be invited to submit detailed proposals by February 10. CRTI is managed by Defence R&D Canada in conjunction with all federal departments and agencies with an interest in developing technologies to protect against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats.
