CIHR and JST to collaborate on stem cell research

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) have agreed to fund joint research projects on the epigenetics of stem cells. CIHR is contributing $6 million to the five-year initiative while JST is providing $8 million. The funding will support a maximum of three research teams comprised of researchers from both countries.
