Carleton Univ spin-off Canada's most innovative

The Canadian Innovation Exchange has selected Carleton Univ spin-off, CognoVision Solutions Inc, as the nation's most innovative firm for 2009. The company, which provides real-time audience measurement and retail intelligence solutions, was co-founded by former Carleton alumnus Haroon Mizra and Dr Shahzad Maik and former student Faizal Javer. Its anonymous face detection and people tracking software is being aimed at retailers, advertisers, digital signage networks, media planners and market research firms....
