CANARIE has launched the second round of its Network-Enabled Platforms program (NEP-2) to fund collaborative projects designed to accelerate the development of, and participation in, national and international cyber-infrastructure and e-research platforms. The $12-million competition will focus on the development and deployment of middleware tools and related platform technologies used by virtual organizations to support new and existing research activities.
