The BC Innovation Council (BCIC) has created the BC Aquaculture & Environmental Innovation Awards to fund research positions in sustainable aquaculture development. The awards will be delivered through the BC Aquaculture R&D Committee, established in 2001 under BCIC’s auspices. Up to five awards will be granted, providing up to $250,000 over five years. The awards are designed to encourage research that provides a broader understanding of how aquaculture and the environment interact.
