The Univ of Prince Edward Island's Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) has been chosen as the Canadian centre for the introduction of new equine stem cell therapy technology. The technology was developed by UK-based VetCell Bioscience Ltd, a company founded to investigate and develop stem cell technologies for animal health. VetCell has already chosen partners in several countries to introduce its technology.
