Walter Natynczyk has stepped down as president of the Canadian Space Agency to take up new duties as DM Veterans Affairs, effective November 3rd. Natynczyk a former chief of the defence staff with the Canadian Forces, departs from the CSA after just 15 months in the position, extending the CSA's difficulty in securing stable leadership so that its long-awaited long-term space plan (announced in 2008) can be completed. His replacement on an interim basis is CSA VP Luc Brûlé. Natynczyk took the reins of the CSA following the departure of Dr Steve MacLean, who departed several months short of his five year-term (R$, January 21/13)….
