Tony Rockingham has been appointed to the newly created position of assistant DM innovation and commercialization with the Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation. Rockingham comes to MRI from the Ministry of Energy, where he held the same position. Prior to that he was director of the air policy and climate change branch with the Ministry of the Environment. MRI's outreach, promotion and business development branch will report to Rockingham while its research branch and corporate policy and program services branch will continue to report to Tony Vander Voet. Rockingham received a Ph.D in mechanical engineering from Imperial College of Science and Technology in London and studied industrial engineering at the Univ of Toronto....
