Toronto-based Tira Wireless has secured US$13 million in series C financing to expand its software platform for mobile content deployment. It is one of several jumpstarted by early-stage investors Brightspark Ventures (R$, October 27/03). Brightspark participated in the latest financing along with Lehman Ventures, Flagship Ventures and Export Development Canada. Tira's Jump platform lowers the cost of mobile content deployment by managing processes for mobile data including planning, adaptation, optimization, localization, certification, carrier and portal packaging....
