Swedish firm licenses Canadian software

Stockholm, Sweden-based RaySearch Laboratories AB has licensed research software from Toronto's Princess Margaret Hospital for use in its deformable image registration technology for use in adaptive radiation therapy. The specialized Morpheus software was licensed through the University Health Network's Technology Development and Commercialization Office. Morpheus algorithms allow for image registration based on biomechanical modeling of anatomical structures to track radiation doses over the course of a patient's treatment. The software development took seven years to complete. RaySearch is a 2000 spin-off of the Karolinska Institutet....
