Robert Thibault has been appointed minister of state for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), replacing Bernie Boudreau who was defeated in the last federal election. Thibault is a rookie MP from Nova Scotia who is currently chair of the board of governors of the Univ of Sainte-Anne. He is past president of a number of associations , a former small business owner and an economic advisor to the Acadian Federation of Nova Scotia. He takes over the ACOA reins at a time of significant change within the Agency (R$, July 28/00)....
