Precarn launches automotive, cleantech fund

Precarn Inc has launched a $2.1-million fund to encourage Canadian firms to apply intelligent systems in the manufacturing (especially automotive parts) and environmental sectors. A request for proposals has been issued and up to $700,000 in non-repayable grants is available per project. Precarn funding cannot exceed 40% of allowable project costs.
