PolarSat secures $12MChinese satcom contract

Montreal-based PolarSat Inc has received a contract to provide $12 million worth of satellite communications equipment to China Aviation Supplies International Tendering Co Ltd for a VSAT Plus II satellite communication system to be used for air traffic management. The privately owned PolarSat will provide the equipment to connect the air traffic headquarters with regional centres. The size of the contract is expected to grow in the near future. PolarSat has approximately 100 employees….
