Ontario funds new youth S&T outreach program

The Ontario Liberal government has launched a Youth Science and Technology Outreach (YSTO) program with $3 million in funding over three years. YSTO will be managed by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade with the objectives of connecting youth with researchers, engaging youth across the province, providing hands-on S&T experience and promoting S&T. Organizations eligible for funding of up to $150,000 over three years include post-secondary institutions, science awareness organizations and industry or professional organizations....
