Ontario announces early research award winners

The Ontario government has announced the second round results of its Early Research Award program, dispersing $14 million to 104 researchers from 22 provincial institutions who are in the first five years of their careers as independent researchers. The five-year $51-million program is administered by the Ministry of Research and Innovation and winners are selected by the Ontario Research Fund Advisory Board. A third round is in progress, with a nominations deadline of January 31/07....
