Michael Egan has been chosen Entrepreneur of the Year by the Canadian Venture Capital Association for his work in building InSystems Corp into a powerhouse in the insurance industry. Under Egan’s direction, InSystem developed the first document creation and assembly tools allowing large firms to assemble large documents from a wide range of databases. The firm grew from no revenues in 1989 to $36 million in 2002 when it was sold to Standard Register Inc, Dayton OH, for US$89 million....
