Marlene Graham

Marlene Graham has been appointed chair of the Alberta Research Council board of directors, following her re-election in the March provincial elections. Graham’s appointment continues with the recent practice of appointing politicians to chair the boards of provincial research organizations. She replaces MLA Victor Doerksen, who is the new minister of Alberta Innovation and Science (R$, March 19/01). Prior to entering politics in 1997, Graham practiced law in Alberta for 21 years as a crown counsel, justice of the peace and family lawyer….
