Mark Dietrich has been appointed president and CEO of Compute Canada effective April 1st, replacing Jill Kowalchuk who has been serving as interim president since April 2013. Dietrich joins the organization as it begins refining and implementing its new strategic plan for 2014-2019. He joined the Compute Canada board of directors in November1/12, was chair of the Audit and Disclosure Committee and worked on developing the organization's budget. Most recently, Dietrich was CEO of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers. Prior to that he founded Bloodstone Solutions Inc, a Toronto-based consulting firm and was executive VP & COO for the Ontario Research and Development Challenge Fund (now Ontario Research Fund). Dietrich holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt Univ, Nashville, TN.....
