Janet Lambert has been appointed president of BIOTECanada, replacing founding president Joyce Groote who announced her intention to leave the industry association earlier this year (R$, March 5/01). Lambert joins the Ottawa-based national organization from industry, where she gained extensive expertise in the pharmaceutical sector. She is a biology graduate from Queen’s Univ and holds a MBA from the Univ of Western Ontario….
