Guy Stanley has been appointed director of technology and innovation at the Conference Board of Canada, replacing Brian Guthrie who left the Ottawa-based think tank last fall (R$, August 13/07). Stanley has consulted for major companies and public service organizations for more than 20 years and teaches courses on NAFTA and global competitiveness at McGill Univ's faculty of management.
