Gord Owen has been appointed president and CEO of the WestLink Innovation Network, replacing Derek Gratz who served in the position for nearly 10 years. Owen served for two years as business manager for WestLink. Prior to that he was director of industry liaison at the Univ of Regina and head of technology transfer at Dalhousie Univ. Gratz is leaving WestLink to become director of applied research and innovation at Red Deer College. He replaces Rick Tofani who is moving to take up a position at the Alberta Research Council. Over the past 15 years, Tofani has held senior business development positions at the Univ of Lethbridge, Olds College Centre for Innovation and the Saskatchewan Research Council....
