Dr Paul Vincett

Dr Paul Vincett has been named to the first research chair in the management of technology enterprises at Wilfrid Laurier. Established by the university’s School of Business Economics, the chair is designed to conduct advanced research for the Canadian technology sector, as well as teaching and management practices and the transfer of technology through business and research partnerships. Vincett has considerable corporate experience in the performance, management and financing of applied research. He has started several companies, including FairCopy Services Inc and Terebank, which he founded based on research he conducted while at Xerox. He received his PhD from Cambridge Univ. Vincett will work with faculty and high-tech businesses to design projects and programs relevant to the marketplace.
