Dr Nicola McDermott has been appointed executive director of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. McDermott comes to the Foundation from the Heart and Stroke Foundation, where she had been director research programs since August/04. She has more than 15 years experience with heart health initiatives, health research and project management and has a comprehensive understanding of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research....
