Dr Louis Visentin

Dr Louis Visentin has been appointed to the National Research Council’s governing council for a three-year term. Visentin is currently president and vice-chancellor of Brandon Univ and has enjoyed a long career in the research and academic communities. He began his career at the NRC where he helped to implement an integrated national biotechnology program. In 1987, Visentin became dean of science at Memorial Univ before moving to Mt Allison Univ in 1993 to assume the position of VP research/academic. Visentin received a BSc from St Francis Xavier Univ, a MSc from the Univ of Detroit and a PhD from the Univ of Michigan....
