Dr Daniel Brucker has received the Manpei Suzuki International Prize for his pioneering work in diabetes research. A senior investigator at Mount Sinai Hospital's Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Re-search Institute, Drucker will receive the $150,000 prize in Tokyo this February. In recent years, his research has been recognized with the Banting Medal for Scientific Achievement Award from the American Diabetes Association and the Claude Bernard Medal from the European Association for the Study of Diabetes — only the second researcher to win all three awards....
