Dr Alison Symington has been appointed VP outreach at the Ontario Genomics Institute. Symington was previously executive director of Bioscience Education Canada and has held posts in academia (Seneca College's school of biological sciences and applied chemistry) and industry (development scientist at sanofi pasteur). She holds a PhD in cell biology from the Univ of Toronto.
