Cool IT Systems receives $6.2 million in financing

Cool IT Systems has received $6.2 million in financing to advance its liquid cooling technology for computers and other electronics, expand its sale channels internationally and finance an acquisition that is in negotiations. The investment in the Calgary-based firm was made by iNovia Capital, existing angel investors and AVAC Ltd. Cool IT is hoping to capitalize on the trend in personal computers towards liquid cooling systems that are less noisy and have more reliable components.
