Consultation for Innovation Strategy cost $7.5 million

Industry Canada has rung up a tab of $7.5 million on the consultation process for its Innovation Strategy that culminated in Toronto this week. The engagement included 34 regional summits, 80 sectoral consultations and the processing of hundreds of written submissions. The national summit in Toronto will produce an action plan with short- and long-term objectives with the aim of making Canada more innovative....
