CATA and SCOAP merge operations

The Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA) has absorbed the Society of Collaborative Opportunities and Advancement of Professionals. (SCOAP). With a combined membership of more than 25,000, the merged organization will see SCOAP activities expand across the country and take on a stronger industry focus. SCOAP was formed in 1981 to facilitate dialogue on the impact of information and technology on individuals, organizations and society at large. Under the CATA umbrella, it plans to launch new web-based services and launch industry awards similar to those it conducts for the Government Technology Exhibition and Conference….
