Canadian telecom firms sign Hong Kong deals

The Communications Research Centre (CRC) has renewed an MOU between Industry Canada and Hong Kong's Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau. The MOU will see further R&D collaboration in the areas of wireless technologies, software, broadband networks, security, e-health, e-government, digital entertainment and multimedia. The MOU was signed at the recent ITU Telecom World event in Hong Kong, where several Canadian companies also signed business deals. They include Baseband Technologies, Calgary, Carta Solutions, Toronto, Casero, Toronto, DataWind Net Access, Montreal, Glopex Networks, Burnaby BC, NewStep Networks, Toronto, Nortel Networks, Brampton ON, Pacific Rim Mobile Technologies, Vancouver, Research in Motion, Waterloo ON, Wavesat, Dorval QC, and XYZ RGB, Ottawa...
