ATLAS data set to flow to TRIUMF

The ATLAS particle physics experiment is set to begin generating massive amounts of data that will be distributed in real time to 10 centres worldwide including ATLAS Canada Data Analysis Centre at TRIUMF in Vancouver. The launch of ATLAS coincides with the start-up of the large hadron collider at CERN in Geneva. ATLAS is one of the largest collaborative efforts ever attempted in the physical sciences and involves 2,100 physicists from 167 universities and laboratories in 37 coun
