Alex Benay

Alex Benay has been appointed president and CEO of the Canada Science and Technology Museum Corp (CSTMC). Benay replaces Denise Amyot who left last year to take the helm of the Association of Community Colleges of Canada (R$, May 9/13). He comes to the CSTMC from Open Text where he was VP government affairs and business development. Benay has also held positions with the Maplesoft Group, the Canadian International Development Agency and Natural Resources Canada. He holds a BA in history from the Univ of Ottawa and a masters in international studies from Athabasca Univ.
